PFA - in person

Being updated. The page works, but we are still revising it. Treat the figures and deadlines as rough guidance and confirm them with an accountant or the official sources.

You file the case in person at the Trade Register (or by post/courier). This is the right option if you don't have a digital signature and prefer handing in the documents on paper. The cost is the same as online: just the reduced ONRC fees, no share capital.

Step by step

Reserve the name. Request the check and reservation of your PFA name at ONRC.

Prepare the file. The PFA registration request, the tax registration annex, the declaration on own responsibility regarding operating conditions, proof of name reservation, copy of your ID, proof of the professional address and, where applicable, proof of professional training/experience. Pick the CAEN codes (see CAEN codes, max 5).

File the case. Go to your county's ORCT counter or send the file by post/courier. The fiscal record is obtained by ONRC directly from ANAF, you don't bring it.

Wait for the decision. The request is processed, in principle, within 1 working day of registration. You receive the registration certificate.

Save the details. Keep the CUI and the rest of your details in My Own Company Details.

If you want to skip the counter entirely and you have a digital signature, see the online option. If you'd rather not deal with forms at all, see via lawyer/service.
