HOME
You want to make games, but the business side, PFA or SRL, taxes, accounts, platforms, forms, sometimes ends up heavier than the game itself. This hub is the organized form of my notes after going through the process several times: a practical guide to spend less time on bureaucracy and more time building games.
Start here: the map below shows the whole journey, from "no company yet" to "publishing your game". The data you gather along the way is saved in My company details — the page behind the
button in the top bar, so you can find it easily later.
How to use the hub
Use the navigation menu like a list of steps, or jump straight to whatever you're stuck on. The main categories are standalone pages too: click a section name for the general explanation, or open its sub-pages for concrete steps. You don't have to go through everything at once.
The process map
Each step links to its detailed page. Steps light up as you fill in My company details: a green check means the data that step produces is already saved on your device, and the pulsing step is the one to do next.
- D-U-N-S number (for Apple and Google)
- Google Play
- Apple App Store
- Steam
The order is not arbitrary. A business bank account needs a registered entity, and an organization store account (Apple, Google) needs company details and often a D-U-N-S number.
Built in the open
This is a public Git repository, anyone can suggest changes or add pages. There are things I never solved cleanly, and platforms I haven't launched on myself. If you know better, send it in on GitHub.
