PlayStation (Sony) is accessed through the PlayStation Partners program. You apply online as a company, sign the agreements, and after approval you get access to documentation, the SDK and dev kits.

- You apply at partners.playstation.net (PlayStation Partners) as a developer/company.
- Selective process, Sony evaluates the request; a portfolio or an already-released game helps.
- After approval: NDA, SDK access and Sony dev kits for PS5.
- The game goes through technical certification before launching on the PlayStation Store.
