SRL online - via ONRC
The official online route, filed directly through the ONRC portal. No counter visits, but every document has to be electronic and signed with a qualified digital signature. You do all the work yourself, but you pay no middleman.
This route is research-based, not personal experience. Confirm the current portal steps against the official ONRC information before you rely on it.
Step by step
Check your digital signature. Online filing needs a qualified digital signature to sign and submit the documents through the portal. If you do not have one yet, get it before starting. See Digital signature.
Prepare three name options. The most important first step. List three names in order of preference and reserve the name through the portal.
Prepare CAEN codes and company data. The main code is 5821 for game publishing; see CAEN Codes for GameDev for the full set. Prepare the company data too: associates, administrator, and share capital (minimum 500 lei).
Prepare proof of the registered office. Proof of your right to use the office, for example a bailment contract (comodat) or a lease. See the registered office options.
Prepare documents in electronic format. All documents must be electronic and signed with a qualified digital signature, or submitted as certified copies.
Submit through the ONRC portal. Create or access your portal account, complete the online application, upload and sign the documents, and pay the fees.
Save your CUI and J number. After approval, store them in My Business Data.
