Documents issued
When your SRL is registered, ONRC issues a set of documents. The one you will reach for again and again is the Registration Certificate (Certificat de Înregistrare). It carries the identifiers every bank, platform and contract will ask for.
The Registration Certificate, field by field

| # | Field | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Company name (Firma) | The full official name including the legal form, for example S.R.L.. Copy it exactly as written. |
| 2 | Registered office (Sediu social) | The official address: county or sector, street, number, building (Bl.), staircase (Sc.), floor (Et.) and apartment (Ap.). |
| 3 | Main activity (CAEN) | The main CAEN code and its description. For game development this is often 5821, publishing of computer games. See CAEN Codes for GameDev. |
| 4 | CUI | The company fiscal code, for example 49837261. If you are a VAT payer it shows as RO + CUI, see European VAT code. |
| 5 | EUID | The EU-level identifier, for example ROONRC.J2024007812409. |
| 6 | Trade Register number (număr J) | The ONRC order number, usually starting with J, for example J2024007812409. |
What you copy where
The CUI and the J number are the two values you will paste most often: into the bank application, store account forms, invoices and contracts. Keep them in your local data sheet so you are not digging through PDFs every time.
Certificate of registered details
The certificat constatator is the document that shows the company's situation at a specific point in time: company name, registered office, CUI, Trade Register number, EUID, declared CAEN activities, and notes about operating conditions. You will use it for banks, contracts, business checks, publishers, grants, or platforms that want proof that the company exists and what activities it has declared.
There are multiple forms of this document. Some show the activities declared at the registered office, while others can include more company details. For important checks, request a recent one from the ONRC portal.

What to check quickly
| Field | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Company name | It should match the name used in contracts, banking, and platform accounts. |
| Registered office | This is the official company address. Check that it is current. |
| CUI and J number | These are the company's main identifiers. |
| EUID | The EU-level company identifier in the Trade Register. |
| CAEN codes | These show the declared activities. For game development, check that relevant codes are present, for example 5821 and/or related codes. |
| Validity / notes | This tells you whether the document is recent and what declared conditions apply. |
How you get it
